Welcome to Judy’s League
The rights of people with disabilities (1 in 4 Americans) are under attack. We need all hands on deck to save Section 504.
What is Judy’s League?
Judy’s League is a task force of individuals from all walks of life and abilities dedicated to defending disability rights in the United States. We were founded in 2025 by Kaleigh Brendle in response to the Texas v. Kennedy (formerly Texas v. Becerra) lawsuit which seeks to destroy Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and our efforts have since expanded to combat the increasing threats to disability rights carried out by our government in recent months. Inspired by the work of late disability rights advocate Judy Heumann who was instrumental in getting Section 504 signed, we stand together against these injustices by speaking out and organizing to ensure that no disabled American is left behind.
